Well, I went out today to charge my 92 Navajo using the R-12 freon(I'm lucky enough that a friend of mine gave me a 30lb bottle of it for FREE!) Well sure enough, I 'm not really paying attention and I put in R-22 freon. Now I tried to let out some of it from the system, then just put some of the R-12. My AC isn't very cold, not cold enough.......it is colder than the vent but not by much. Anyone know if I completely screwed up my AC system by mixing the 2 of them? Also, what pressure should I be putting in?
