Hi, I just did a body lift 2 nights ago and an intake, everything worked just fine, then today me and my friend put in a new exhaust system, then when we were done the ac doesn't work...

Let me say how it does and doesn't work, the AC works out of the vents by the windshield but doesn't work out of the 4 front vents, anyone know what the problem is?

My friend thinks a vacuum is being lost somewhere, something like that, but can't find out where, if anyone knows please help...

:)

The main vacuum line that goes from the engine through the fire wall and provides vacuum to close the blend air door has come off. I can't remember where it is located, but just start the engine and listen for a hissing noise, if you can't hear anything, get some carb cleaner and start spraying all the hoses around the intake, right inner fender and firewall, if you spray close enough to the leak (with the engine running) the idle RPMs will drop (due to the intake of fuel [the carb cleaner] through the vacuum leak).

Thanks for the quick response, but actually my buddy being the most genious person alive figured it out within the hour..

I guess it was as simple that the vacuum canister was not working right, so he just took the hoses that went in/out and taped em together until I get a new canister, now when i floor it, the ac dies down, and if i keep it floored it stops, until it can get enough power, it's kinda funny.

So that's it, thanks again for responding so quickly though
