It's a vacuum controlled system as far as the door movement goes. If you've got the control panel out and have a vacuum pump you could manually try to move things or apply vacuum to the ports. If you don't have a pump then get creative splicing your main vacuum line to individual output lines to try to force a move. If nothing moves your doors are bound up.

I used a little tube and i can move them around, but how do I get it to stay like that? I put the controls back in, and it goes back to front vents only.

being an '04 and if you got dual climate controls, there are motor/cassette looking thing on the side of the ducts, gears strip and break. . .

I have an 04 Mountaineer, with the dual electronic controls. Mine was stuck on the middle vents, and when I'd get up over about 45, the air rushing in from outside would force it up to the defrost. It turned out to just be a leaking vacuum line. It's vacuum controlled, you've probably got a vacuum leak or a line off.

Yeah, If you can use a smaller hose and kind of jumper the mainline vacuum to the others and make them move then your dealing with a failure of the vacuum valving. And I believe that's a part of the entire control head. I don't think it's an individually serviceable piece.
