I'm thinking about changing out my fuel injectors. Accel offers 2 flow rates 21lb/hr and 24lb/hr both are 14.4 ohms resistance. Not sure which to get for my '91 Explorer.

Any suggestions? I'm looking to improve low end power and fuel economy. My only engine mod is a cold air intake (the mod featured in many threads on this forum) with an Airade Cone filter.

Accel, claims no other mods are required, they are listed as "stock replacement".

Believe me, they aren't a stock replacement. I made that mistake and ran so rich that I was only getting 7 mpg and didn't have any power. It also glazed my new piston rings, so now I burn oil and smoke until I rip it apart again and replace them.

You need 19 lb, let me see if I can figure out a part #

Thanks little X!! Thats why I love this place. PLEASE get us a part #

Well, I've looked through all my files, and can't find it, and I've searched then net for quite a while with out luck. When I bought mine (3 years ago or so) I got them from fiveomotorsports.com

Five-O still offers the bosch 19 lb yellow tops for our explorers. But when I made my purchase they had a second set that was advertised as being 19lb, but spraying a much finer mist, and therefore miking the air/fuel better. I figured for an extra $30 or so, why not. Maybe it's been taken off the market now. But the yellow tops will work just fine. If you need injectors that's what I'd go with.

Got a good part # at Fiveo, Bosch 0280155710-F6VE. They are Design III and feature a finer spray and quicker pulse width. They are $20 more than the standard Bosch replacement. I'm getting a set this week.

I've bought good fuel injectors for my '97 Explorer online, and got so lucky 'coz they gave me discounts because I've been purchasing on their stores. It gave me no problem since I used it, you don't you try it too? i assure you of its performance.
