I have had my 93 X for over a year now and it has always done this. While accelerating the engine "surges", but only ever so slightly (+/- 25-50 rpm). I notice it during a slow to moderate speeding up and it continues to do it until I have reached whatever speed I am going to drive at and then it cruises just fine. I have never tried tromping it but I bet if I could feel past all the vibration it would exist then also. It has never been enough of an issue to be a problem but the more I drive and think about it the more it bugs me. Has anyone had a similar problem?
Gimme your input.

i think i might know what you mean. mine it does not acclerate steadly but its not much of a problem

Have you cleaned the MAF? the TB?

Maybe run a can of Sea Foam through the intake.

Good luck ..........
