Accelerator cable disengaged from pedal.
The spring-loaded ball fits into socket at top of pedal, but doesnt stay in.
Is it supposed to SNAP in or should there always be tension on the cable that keeps it in place?
Also, how do I get the cable loose from the firewall?
Can't drive it like it is, and can't get replacement cable this weekend, so hoping to fix problem.
