Accessories position on ignition switch

Hi Guys,

This must seem like a silly question, but does the 1997 xlt Explorer have a accesories position on the ignition switch.

The radio only works if the engine is running or the ignition is switched on.

If there is an accessories position, where would I start to look for the problem.
