Adaptive Cruise Control - Sounds like Semi/ABS Pulse

Hi all, I found a thread about a “hum” which had no resolution. Today in our 13 Sport with 136k miles, while driving through town with cruise set at 30mph when slowing down for a vehicle that pulled out in front of us I heard what sounded like a pressure purge similar to what semi air brakes sound like and it was a stuttered purge not just a single release. Sounded similar to an ABS pulse however ABS was not engaged and is reproducible with ACC on. It does not happen during normal braking. I can’t say I’ve ever heard it before but I can’t say that it isn’t “normal” either. Just wanted to post here and see if anyone has experienced this before?

Hi Mike. If the braking was sudden and hard, it could have been ABS related. I can't say I've ever experienced it, but then I never use ACC when driving in town.
