Add-A-Leaf w/ '97 Sport Single Spring setup

Okay;

Everytime I log onto these threads the situation seems different!?!

I read threads taht say a Sport w/ the single springs cannot add an add-a-leaf for lift, AND THEN,

I see in another thread where someone recommends (to a Sport owner) using EITHER the shackles opr a add-a-leaf.

CAN AN ADD-A-LEAF BE ADDED TO A SINGLE SPRING SETUP (LIKE THE 2DR SPORT) (1) AT ALL, (2) TO ADD LIFT, (3) TO END REAR END SAG, (4) AT ALL.

Please let me know and if you say it can be added, please let me know where to order from, I'll call right now.

Add a leaf

You can add an add a leaf to the sport. There is not one listed in any aftermarket parts that I can find, but you can try one listed for the 3" Ford trucks in the Summit catalogue. The best solution is to go to a spring maker in your area and have them build an add a leaf for you. That will insure that you get exactly the lift and ride that you are looking for. Others have gone this route with good results.
