Add audio control on steering wheel

Hi,

I have 2006 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer, my car dose not have audio control on the steering wheel, so I have bought a used steering wheel with audio control and install it on my car. the audio control did not work, what should I do?

I wonder if it needs to be programmed as well.
