Adding deleted rear hvac and heated seat controls

My 2022 Explorer LTD, as with most, did not arrive with the 2nd Row Climate Controls installed. I was told that Ford would contact me in 6 to 9 months (I took posession July 2022). I have not received any word on the provision of this control panel. Can anyone provide me an update? Thank you.

Got a message on my Ford Pass app that the parts were available. Called service and they ordered the parts. Installed last week.

2022 Timberline - got tired of waiting. Ordered Heater Control LB5Z-19980-H, shipped same day. Super easy install, works great.

Did you receive any form of notification regarding the availability or installation of the parts? If going strictly by your post, it would seem that nothing is going to happen unless you get back to one of the parties you mentioned.

Brought the service bulletin (22G01) to the parts desk. He looked it up and told me "sorry no part yet". I then presented the part # LB5Z-19980-H to him and voila. Lots available. Booked the installation for next week. ☺

I recently purchased a “new to me” 2022 Ford Explorer from the dealership. I noticed the rear climate controls were missing. Am I able to get this installed for free from Ford even if I wasnt the original owner?

Welcome to the Forum.
I'm guessing that your Explorer was one of the units shipped without the controls and the original owner didn't get the controls added.
In that case, with you being the 2nd owner, it would be best to check with the dealer and depending on the answer, with Ford as well.
