Will a 98 stock head unit (Mach unit) control a changer out of a 97? I already know the 97 console harness will not work. I already tried, got nothing.. the rear audio controls and hvac controls didn't work when the 97 console harness was in. Does anyone know if the dash harness has the wires running down to the plug for the console harness? Factory premium truck but has a Mach head unit. I'm going to try and pull the changer wires out of the 97 harness and put them in the 98 console harness, maybe that will work?
