I have the stock Head unit with Tape/CD, but there isn't a CD player. I assume I can get the changer for the center console and a controll cable and it should just plug in to the head unit?

Any advice is much appreciated, however I do want to stay stock, so save your breath if you want to tell me to go aftermarket! :D

Thanks

You have a Dual Media (CD player/cassette player) system?? Or do you have a cassette player with changer controls?? Make sure what you have first. Dual Media systems was not introduced until '98 model year.

If you have the Dual Media system, then you need a cable to connect the changer to the receiver.

If you have the cassette player with changer controls, then there should be a plug for it already at the center console. You can check by taking out the tissue holder and the trim and check if there's a plug at the driver's side of the center console.

I have the cassette player with CD controls. Theres the CD button on the right and the tune button also says CD change......theres no cable in the center tho......even popped out the cover and nothing.

I'd contact Radios and More for a harness. I got one from them last month, very helpful. They wanted info on the head unit, if the bass and treble controls have knobs or buttons. Mine has buttons so I bought the 772 harness F7FF-14588-BA. Hope this helps.

Thanks Joe! I'll check them out.
