Advance Trac Issue

Every once in a while when I turn the car off, I get a "Check Advanc Trac" warning light.

No check engine or other lights appear.

What could this be?

You mean you can see a brief "Check Advance Trac" message flash on the message screen as the dash icons blink off as you turn off the ignition/engine? If yes, I've seen that before on occasion on my own Explorer, but I don't think it is anything to worry about. A while back I read a post that mentioned something about this, but I can't remember all the details on it.

Very brief only when I trun the car off it happens, yes.

Me too...happens intermittently.

I also get this, and sometimes it will say low oil pressure or something to that effect. I believe it's just a fluke with the system.

I think I'll take the truck to the mechanic and let him see. I have to get something else done anyway.
