What's your budget look like? How much are you willing to drop into it? There are a number of ways to go about it.

This is easy. You'll need:

4" Superlift $1500
3" Performance Accessories Body Lift (98-00 Ranger Kit) $160
TT/Shackles/Add-A-Leafs $80

For $1800 you'll have the lift you need. Have you seen Klowns ride? http://www.cardomain.com/id/klowns

its sounds like clowns X rubs alot. I need to be able to perform good offroad. driving slow over hills or bumps like i do now is acceptable, but i don't want to hear my fenders rub every time i hit a bump.

Then I would advise you get new front fenders from Perry's. You would have no rubbing with that and the bodylift and suspension lift.
