advice on lifting a 2006 Ex

I have a 2006 explorer 4x4 stock. I was thinking of doing a truxx lift and some 264/75/16 all terrain tires on stock rims. I was wondering if I could add either a 1' or 1 1/2'' wheel space with the above mentioned combo. mahalo!

You'll get no rubbing with those size tires and the lift I run the same lift but with mud terrain tires the only rub I get is full turn of the wheel and it barly rubs but you could go 285 size tire and get spacers you should be fine I wish I went with 285 mt tire then got spacer

Thanks 0693. Your EX is my EX's role model. I thought you has hankook AT's? So with the set up you have right now, could you run spacers on them. How thick of a spacer could you use you think? Sorry for sounding like a new B. I was once a Honda guy, getting into trucks.

Nope I run Hankook dynapro MT. And don't worry about it haha welcome t the truck side and for me I'm thinking I was like get 1.5"-2" I'm not sure yet but I def wanna get some make it look more beefy and stand out more if you know is what I mean but for my next set of tire I'm def getting 285 because I wi be adding the rancho so ill have about 4.75" lift about 5" I might be able to fit 35s at that point well have to wait and see I just bought these tires so it won't be for a while
