Aerostar keyless entry question.

I remember my surprise one day at WalGreens when a lady in a Dodge minivan opened my 93 Aerostar doors with her keyless transmitter.LOL! I tried mine on her van,but it didn't work her locks.Crazy! don-ohio ^)

Crazy for sure. Kinda like garage door openers that work on garage doors other than one's own. Evidently pranksters have been known to prowl streets with door openers in hand, clicking at each garage door. Once in awhile they manage to get into someone's garage to do their mischief! This actually happened to one of the neighbors down the street.

Yeah,darned hoodlums and thieves! When I was a boy in the 50s and 60s we could leave the house unlocked.Sorry state of affairs nowadays.
To keep that from happening,I locked my slide bar on each side of my door.If the motor is activated,it will kick out after a few seconds. don-ohio
