id like to see what the five speed shifter looks like.
If I did this right, here is my M5OD shifter from a ranger. I prefer this cause I get a cup holder and I don't have to lean forward to shift.
looks factory.
I can't say I've found the factory setup uncomfortable. Does the Ranger setup move it back or give you a bent stick? Can't quite tell from the photo.
I had real wire wheel covers on my mg in the late 70's. It had a mag lock on it. It was a 1/8 flat stock bent like a u with 2 ears on it. The ears were secured to the rim by the lug nuts. And a center mag lock nut went threw the center of my hub cap and secured it to the rim. I bought these after losing a $100. Cover when I hit a pot hole. You might not want a hole in your cap. My center hole was covered by a fake spinner center.Hubcaps and Paint
Thanks! I believe those were the top-of-the-line hubcaps available. They are REAL hubcaps...made of metal and heavy. I wish there was a way to secure them to the wheel like they do with a locking lugnut found on actual custom wheels.
That style of two-tone paint appears to be somewhat rare. I notice that many Aeros had silver trim along the bottom and then a solid color above it, but not the same color at the bottom and the top.

82000 mi. Runs great. Replaced less than attractive stock hubcaps with trim rings and center caps. Recent new tires livened thing up in appearance, as well
as drive-ability. Swapped factory vinyl seats for nice set from passenger van.
Much improved comfort. Come spring, plan on re-spray and swap sliding door for one with window.
