Just curious if replacing the rear shocks on my 96 standard length RWD will be pretty straightforward. Is there anything that might be problematic to look out for? I read the how-to in the Explorer section, so I am guessing it's very similar. Any tips or info would be appreciated.

Thank You,
KG

If 96 is the same as 94 it should be easy, assuming the upper bolts are not frozen to the clip nuts. If thats the case then prepair for some torching and or drilling.

Make sure that you use two 1/2" drive breaker bars or ratchets. Sometimes tightening the bolt, then loosening the bolt will help break them loose. Which brand did you choose for replacement shocks?
