Aerostar won't start, battery good, dead silence.
Left town, came back, got nuthin'. No lights, no radio, no power locks. No clicking. Silence. Battery is good. Tried starting with an external starter. Nuthin'.
Disconnected battery to attempt a reset. Terminals are squeaky clean. New Interstate above rating.
Stumped.

Welcome to this forum! Did you check the fuses? The older models had fusible links. Did you check the opposite side of the battery cables for corrosion or a bad connection?
Thanks. Fuses. Duh. Will do that tomorrow. By opposite side not sure what you mean. Where the cable go to from the battery? No. Will try and trace that as well.

The wiring diagrams I have are for a 94 aerostar, it shows all the fusible links on the starter relay on the drivers side fender. How long did the van sit while you were gone? What type of interstate battery? AGM for example, if completely discharged can be a pain to recharge. I had a similar issue that ended up being a corroded battery cable under the jacket.
