I'd like to hear from people who have installed after-market air induction systems on their trucks; system brand, change in HP, change in MPG, any resulting long-term problems (water induction, etc.), overall impression.

Thanks, Alan

do you mean K&N filters or blowers? i can only say that i have a K&N, it helped a lil...engines are big gas and air pumps, the more of those two you providei t can only help. but as anyone will say "more HP=LESS gas mileage" besides expolorers are not geo metros...they eat gas every chance they can. but the k&n did make a noticable diff over factory airbox.

We carry the Mac Intake System at Explorer Express. This is a nice upgrade that adds power for an affordable price. Many of my customers claim an increase in fuel mileage after installing the Mac. It really depends on how you drive. The intake is a good place to start. We also carry exhaust systems and headers. There are no computer chips available for the 02-04 Explorer 4-doors. We will soon have the capabiliy of re-flashing your computer.
