Need some help here....
I've searched the site and found little on this subject outside of V-6 to V-8 mods.

Lately I've noticed that my tachometer is no longer reading accurately and quite frankly it annoys the **** out of me.

I'm one of the people who has to watch the tachometer all day long....

Anyways, i was wondering, how hard is it + how do you install and after market tachometer nothing big or special, just somehting accurate.

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

It not really that hard. The hardest part would be finding a place to mount it to once that done then it's a simple 4 wire hook up:

Tach lead (signal input)
Power
Ground
Dash Light

If your putting it into a Explorer there already a tach lead going to the cluster when i did mine i just used that for the input . tape the lights into you're dash lights ground it and run the pwr lead to the fuse box acc port and you're good to go

hope this helps

So basically all that i have to do is find the lead from the old tach and run it to my new tach right?

Other than thats its just lights + ground?
