aftermarket cd player install?

I want to get an aftermarket cd player for my 97 ex. Is there a kit I can buy at the store, I have an extra cd plyaer laying around that I want to install. Thanks!:)

To make this install simple, you need to get a Scoochie (sp) wiring kit that you connect to the CD wiring and it just plugs into the factory wiring harness. Its the only way to go.
There are two different kits available, one for the Premium sound system and non Premium system.

how do I tell if I have premium sound or non premium. I have a 1997 XLT 6 disc changer.

I would suggest using the search button up above. Search Premium Sound. From my understanding, if you have the audio equipment that you have, you likely have Premium. But I don't have an OEM system... What all does your system have? Factory sub w/amp, etc...?
