I am fed up with the factory ford exploer 5.0 V-8 plug wires.

Does anyone have aftermarket plug wires and who makes them???

I was looking for a 9mm instead of the factory 8mm also.

any help would be great

Just today I had to replace my plug wires AGAIN!! A few months ago I installed a set from NAPA (Belden), and yesterday one of them got too close to the drivers side frontmost header and it melted in half. NAPA would not replace them (they had a lifetime warranty) b/c they said it was my fault, not a factory defect.

Anyways today I picked up a set of Autolite Pro-fit wires, they are a very nice set, much higher quaility than the stock and the NAPA wires. They cost me $75, they come with heat sheilding as well, and also have a lifetime warranty (expect if they melt I assume!!!). Oh yeah, they are also 8.5mm wires. I am impresed with them so far...

good luck!!
