I removed my front bumper and grille a few weeks ago on my '99 Sport to install some fog lights... the next day my air bag light started flashing... but it only stayed on for that ride. It was ok for aboot a week and now it flashes a code 37 and stays on, every time.

I read through the other posts and see that 37 is a problem with the passenger side airbag? I saw a few others got the same code, but didn't see the resolution to any of them... I'm thinking maybe I bumped or disturbed something while removing the bumper and working on the front of the vehicle? I told my story to the local dealerships and they won't even humor me and take a look up front to see if anything is disconnected or obviously damaged... they are pretty set on me paying the $90 for them to scan codes befor they do anything else...

I have no problem with them scanning codes, but I would be seriously pissed if it turned out that something right up front was unplugged or disturbed. And it was a 2-minute fix that I could have done... My question is is there anything I can check before I take the vehicle in?

Sorry for the long post... :o

Problem solved. I unhooked the connectors under the passenger seat, and hooked them up again and the airbag light went out.

Thanks to all who replied.
