Air Box

I remember reading about an easy cheap ram air mod for a Mustang a while back.

You take dryer vent ducting, and fit it to the airbox, and run it down into the front air dam. It makes a ram air kit for $30.

I wonder if it would work on the Explorer. Dead Link Removed

Yeah, I was thinking along the lines of that. I went to Home Depot the other day and looed in the shop-vac section, and I was wondering if I could take the little connectors for the end of the hose in a size that would fit in the slots in the bumper. I think I found ones that would fit, and all I would have to do is use a little 3M tape. I'll see if I do it, and I'll keep you posted.

You know the little well the only air intake the little snorkle that runs from the airbox to behind the headlight? Would it help to take that off? I want to get more air in the airbox!!! I have holes in the fender side already
