Air Compressor

Hi Everyone !

I have a 95 Limited that I bought 1 month ago so i`m just starting to learn everything there is to learn about it. I have a question I have the Air ride system, and the quesiton is why do every time that I engage the 4wd in low or High the compressor start ? is the vacuum to turn the 4wd on coming from the compressor ????

The actual 4x4 is not controlled by a compressor. Your air shocks are for lifting the truck a bit when offroading.

Engage the 4x4 and get out and see if it has risen at all...Also you may want to bring a tape measure for the before and after heights...
