'91 with 104K. A/C cycles on for about 3 seconds then off for 10 seconds with switch on. It has been most of winter since running unit, if you have any ideas please help. At least it will help my dealing with A/C people.

I'm no expert on A/C systems, but I have always heard with your discription that the freon is probably low. It's unable to build up the proper pressure inside the system. Hope that helps and welcome to the site! :)

Freon is low..If it is cycling, 2 cans should do it, might want to add some oil/sealer too..The guys at the parts house can hook you up with a kit to do it yourself for under $50...And welcome to the site..

You've got a 91 so your system has to be converted if you want to add freon. Conversion kits can be purchased at your local auto parts stores. They are saying though that your old system has to be drained first by a specialist.........

good luck!
