Anyone know why the defrost would be on when air setting is set to floor only or why I get air on the floor when I select defrost only? Defrost and floor setting work fine.

Hey Rondo,

All parts work fine and are not broken. By the way. I founfd the real floor vent next to the radio console. What a dtiz I am ....but what is the square type hose towards the dash that blows air. Is this another floor vent...air does come out of it so I assume it is?

Sorry, I probably should have read your post a little better. Every single car I have ever owned or driven, been driving for 30 years, has always had airflow out of the defroster vents when the floor vent is selected. Must be something about keeping the windshield clear when it's cold outside.

As far as the other vent goes, The red arrow indicates the floor vents and the yellow arrow points to feet warmer. :fire: ;)

Is it common to have air blow out of the feet warmer all the time?
