Air filter How long do you go?

How long are you guys getting out of your air filter? I realize this depends on conditions, but in general do you replace after so many miles, or just keep doing the "light" check until it looks dirty?

Check it every time you change your oil using a light. No better way to do it.

I don't believe in K&N filters when off roading - too much dust - but I do for normal driving.

It depends on the air conditions. Right now is pollen time, so the filter will get more clogged than in the winter.
Visually check the filter every oil change.
