I'm a newby to all this. What gains are made by changing out the OEM air intake with the aftermarket ones? Is there any gain in hp, TQ or mpg? Thanks!

It allows the engine to "breathe" easier. There well be some gains in BHP and torque, only minimal though. There may well be some increase in the MPG aswell, however, due to faulty oxy sensors I´ve not noticed yet!
