Hoping someone might have an answer for a couke of issues I am having with my 2005 Explorer. The major issue at hand, given that we are experiencing colder than normal temps, is that air is coming in from my glove compartment. The faster you go, the more air comes in. I am hoping this is an easy fix, maybe the door has fallen.

The second issue is that when you turn the thermostat to the highest setting on heat and the lowest setting on cold, there is a loud clicking noise. In the summer, it feels as though it is not cooling properly, but the freon tests come back normal. Maybe these two issues are related. I just don't want to take it to a mechanic and be taken advantage of.

Any suggestions/solutions would be greatly appreciated.
