airbag code 24

I have a 98 X and my airbag flashes twice then four times does anyone know what this code could mean. I was told that it could be the clockspring because my speedo isn't working either. the abs light is on with a code of p0500 , but the rear sensor is good. What is the ohm reading for the front abs sensors. Thanks

It would be nice if you could get it scanned and tell us the B code that should be stored in the computer for the airbag.

I replaced the airbag control module with a junkyard piece for .............. $70.00 and whata-ya-know problem is fixed. Thank you for your help.

I have a 98 XLT with an Airbag code 24. I see that beanuts replaced the airbag control module with one from a junkyard for $70. Can anyone tell me where the module is on the vehicle?
