airbag code 41

I recently removed the front bumper and passenger fender in order to fix a ben bumper bracket and remove some bends in the fender. I now have a 41 airbag code. the only open plugs in the front are the ones for my fog lamps. What else could be this cause?

2000 X airbag code 41

after replacing the gear indicator and having the dash apart i now have the airbag light flashing 4 times then 1...is this coincidental or is this something I did ..maybe somthing jiggled loose??..and where is the RH radiator sensor?...c could this be bad?...how do I replace it?.....thanks

Was the battery disconnected? Sometimes a false code could get stored when there is a brief power interruption.

yes.. I disconnected the battery when I was working under the dash..how do I reset it?

Disconnect the battery, wait 10 minutes, then reconnect it.

ya...i tried that yesterday..and even left it disconnected over nite...any other suggestions would be apprecated..thank you

The next step is to check the sensor from the air bag module's connector. This will tell you if it's the wiring.
