Airbag light is on

...nope, thats not it...a clockspring is in the steering column...i'm not familiar with the '02's so i'm reading your thread...:D
...i am glad you didn't have to pay for this and now it should have some warranty for the new parts...

Ok, the fix by the dealer was under warranty. But if yours is an '02, it's out of warranty.
Is there a separate warranty period for airbag/passenger restraint systems?

Curious because my airbag light (LFC 34) is on, and it's an '02.

i bought the truck used, I'm the second owner. The dealer I bought it from included a 60 day warranty;)

well i just got my truck back from the dealer(was in service for 2 days)
Brought it in b/c they never did the oil change before delivery, didn't fix oil leak and b/c of the air bag light
Well the oil leak was the power steering pump, they changed it free of charge
and the air bag light, they said they didn't find any code. A messed around w/ the connection under both front seats, so i think i might have fixed it
just wanted to let everyone know
