I have two of the dummy alarm LEDs and I want them to flash at the same time and wire them to a keyed power source for a project I am working on. Here is what I have.

I am thinking I can wire one of them up as normal with all three wires, and then splice into the red wire after the black box to power the second. Do you think running two off of one black box would overload it or make the LEDs dimmer?

Doubtful. They are low power. I've run police LED's in series wired to one another without any problems.

I just wasn't really sure what's inside the black box. I know the flasher is in there, but not sure about resistors and such to control brightness.

Anyone know where I can find a key-activated ground source in the engine compartment?

How would I go about wiring up a standard fog light relay to create a ground signal when the key is off? The trigger wire requires a second ground.

Bumpity

Think I may have it figured out. Thanks, LOL.

LOL where did you get the LED bulbs that flash. I have looked EVERYWHERE but no one sells them
