alarm system

Do stock 99 explorers have an alarm system, i know there is a panic button which would serve no purpose unless you were screwing with people. I was wondering this because i can shake my car and everything, pull the handles, but no alarm. If there is an alarm how would i be able to go about testing it, and if there isnt (and even if there is) what are some good alarm systems.

from what i have learned on here-

Explorers have the "Ford Alarm I"
which only locks the doors and has the panic button(with which i screw with ppl )

They put the "Ford Alarm II" on mustangs which has the shock sensors.
