Can I go ahead and use my stock wheels for now to save money, and get the 33's I'm wanting and get spacers to make the backspacing to 3.75"??? Possible or no?

IMO it's much better to go ahead and get some good 15x8 rims. You can get some cheapies like the steel Rockcrawlers I have. It's better to avoid spacers when you can and also 7" wide rim is too narrow for a 12.50 tire. You can do it, but it's not advised.

well thats where the problem comes in, if i get the rockcrawlers i found for 45 give or take a few bucks, thats 200$, which means i have no more money for the BL, and i refuse to run 31's with the 3" BL, what other options do i have using the stock wheels?

yeah.. i haven't gotten my new tires on yet and just did the BL. it looks good, but a little funny with the "little" tires. when i get the truck started... its going in for my 33s. (actually, i already rolled them up against it to see what it looks like)

Mo, Doug's wheels cost like $25 give or take if I remember correctly.. even cheaper than the rockcrawlers..

Why not take a little more time and save a little more to do what you want and do it right? If you rush things like this just to get it done, you will regret it in the future. Save up a little more and get the wheels/tires and lift that you want, you will thank yourself in the future.

I agree with Robb. Don't do things half-assed and wait until you can do everything right.

reasons i cant buy the 15x8 wheels:

1) too expensive at the moment, about $40-45/eac

2) i have about $750 to spend, give or take 50

tires(BFG MT or GoodYear MT/R) roughly $140/each = $560

3" BL = $150

new total = $40 TADA :D i guess i could always just buy one wheel

but none of those prices include shipping, and the shipping with the tires is going to be huge, that will probably easily take up the $40 left over

I got white wagon wheels from summit for 26 bucks a piece then shipping was like 8 dollars. You should do what i did. I bought the 33s first and had them as motivation to get the rims and then body lift. if i didnt get the tires i would probably still be running 31s! :D

And I'm running pep boys Futura's A/T's nearly the same identical pattern as BFGs... 100 bucks a pop... They're just as good as BFGs... Wait, i take that back... They're better, cause they cost a boat load less... If ya want the BFG name, good for you, it's a laugh to me, their tires aren't anything special, as I've run em before...
Go cheaper, and then get the wheels.
Pete

I am looking at the Uniroyal MT's....their pattern seems very close to the BFG MT's as well..and they go for around 90-100 bucks. Anyone know anymore about them?

Namitey:
Do you have a brand name on those rims? or just search for wagon wheels on summit?
