I've got a 96 Explorer with 187,000 miles on it. It pulls to the right quite badly I've noticed since I've started driving it....it's been my son's vehicle until he recently started driving his sister's old car. I see substantial wear on the inside of the left front tire. Anyway I stopped at a local alignment shop yesterday to check on getting it done. They told me it's $50 to align the front end unless it's never been aligned before. If that's the case, then it will need a camber kit, which will then run around $150. I'm not sure if it's ever been aligned before as I bought it for my son about 1.5 years ago with 175,000 on it. I would assume it has but don't know. How would I be able to tell for sure? Is this true that it would need a camber kit? Thanks for your help!
