I have had both Panasonic and Alpine. I now currently have a Pioneer. The Alpine and Panasonic are far superior in sound than the Pioneer. I would reccomend both of them. They both sound excellent and are top notch products. You wont go wrong with either of them.
Another vote for Alpine. Comparing Panasonic to Alpine is like comparing a Kia to an Explorer. Not even close! But do shop around- Crutchfield has great customer service but their prices are on the high end.
I've been selling both for the last 6 years and I think they are both great. Panasonic seems to give a bit more useful features to the average guy though. At least dollar for dollar.
1st dont buy a HU from Crutchfiels unless you have alot of $ to burn.......
For that amount you can get a cd player alot better then thouse to..
Like I just bought a brand new Kenwood Excelon KDC-X869 (IMO a verry good cd player) which sells for $497.99 at crutchfield for $299.00.
If any one whould like to try to get this deal I may beable to hoop them up.
