I have an Alpine CDA-9833 HU and am wanting to adjust the time correction for the speakers but I have no clue what I am doing. I know a friend of mine found a website that gave all the specifications for it but I haven't been able to find anything. If anyone has done this before or knows how to I guess I am just looking for advice.

There should be a guide in your owners manual as far as how to measure and make corrections. You need to slow down (for lack of a better term) the speakers closest to you and work out from there.

Remember however you can only correct for one position in the truck, so it will sound off to anyone sittin anywhere else in the truck.

I was just on the i-personalize site and I can adjust time correction, the EQ, and crossover settings. Once everything is adjusted to my liking, I can burn all the settings to a CD and upload it to my HU. I would really like to fine tune everything, but have no clue what I am doing in regards to the EQ and crossover settings although I have pretty much figured out the time correction. If anyone has done this before with their Alpine HU could you give me some pointers as to how I should adjust everything?

I just use the Rock EQ setting. I've made a thread about this too. I did all that once and it was just not a noticeable difference.

I agree with Husky, when I did all mine, it sounded better (a little) but its not something I would get all worked up about and do it again. The only thing I do is use my crossover, as that will affect how the song sounds more than anything else, problem with that is ever genre of music needs different setting, country will use less bass, more mid and more high, rap & hiphop will use more bass, medium mids and less highs, rock will use lots of high, good amount of mid, and depending on the song, little bass (don't like it to sound muddy) Sometimes your just better off using the preset eq settings and tweaking it from there depending on music.

If all else fails, "READ THE MANUAL"
