Alpine type R

[White x]

I have one alpine type r 12 in a sealed box. The specs on the sub is 500 rms and 1500 peak. Can anyone recomend a good mono block amp for this sub?

Orion 600D, Orion 1200D, Orion XTR Pro 1000

I reccomend Orion because that is what I run and I've had the best of luck with them although you could run some crossfire amps.

Orion 1200d is crazy i love it. I have it powering a 18 inch sx.

I have a mtx thunderform on my type-R and it hits pretty good, I think I'm only pumping like 375 rms to it though.

JBL GTO1201.1 i have 2 Type R's hook up to it and it f**ing bangs!
i have tried Many amps and nothing gets close to it in its price range ~$300~

I would just go with the mono block amp by Alpine. They have a 500 watt, and a 1000 watt RMS amps from Alpine. Check out www.acaraudio.com and search up Alpines Mono Block amps.
