Alternator is not charging.

hey guys i have a problem. i have a 95 expo but just changed motor harness, motor compartment harness and the entire dash and tranny from a 97 expo. everything was ok running good for a couple days. all of a sudden the battery light came on and volt gauge is low. batt has 13 volts. nothing out of the alt and its a new alt. fuses are ok. any suggestions.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 95-01 section. The alternator could be bad even if it's new.

Probably a regulator issue, even though it's new. Take it to the parts store and have them test it.
