Aluminum Intake Manifold 4.6 V8 advice

Hello All,

I was looking at the intake manifold for my 2003 EX 4.6 V8 on eBay and found a decent pricing on aluminum intake manifold, $220. I have not replace one in the past so have no knowledge on the difference as well as the fitment for this one. It doesn't come with gaskets. Maybe someone can comment on this.

I've read where mustang guys use the Explorer intakes. Ours are plastic for weight reduction, same reason we got aluminum blocks.

I'd be game for an aluminum intake. Let me know how it goes.

Edit: also the Mustang intake may only have a spot for one knock sensor where the Explorer has two knock sensors.
