am i the only one with this prblm

i have changed my headlight harness 3 times and it still over heats and melts dose any one else have this prblm and has any one figured out how to fix it im thinkin of just rewireing my whole headlight system

do you mean the harness that goes to the headlight switch in the dash?

Ford went with the ultra high-dollar 28ga wire LOL! do you have 'non-stock' bulbs? That does it, most times. For Far superior light output, and peace of mind, rewire with 16-14ga wire and relays. and get yourself some 80w/100w bulbs. Not much you can do for the pathetic lens and reflector assemblies, but at least you can optimize the electrics.

yea they came with the truck and i found some ultra clear lenses but ill put some new wire in it thx
