Amp and speakers together??

i just got my cd changer installed and i was thinking of putting my subs in but i dont think i want to. I have an amp that id like to keep and use for my speakers. I dont know if im thinkin right or what but can i hook up them and have that run power to the speakers. I just bought 4 new 6x8s and 2 6x9 for the very back in the 6x9 boxes just to get a few more sounds back there. What do i do to get the amp and speakers goin together...Am i just hooking it up like im doin it with the subs cause i know how to do that so if thats it then im set.

well ud have to wire it right so the amp saw a 2ohm or 4ohm load...i can tell u how to wire 4 speakers to a 4 or 2 channel amp..but 6 speakers im not to sure about

i really dont know if u will need 6 speakers..people like drew just have 1 component set and tahts enough to fill the entire car
