I have a 2 door x and was wondering where Is the best place to mount an amp? I have searched and got no specific places for a 2 door? I do not have a factory amp as my x was a base with only am/fm no cassett and the rear 1/4 panel is a netting with nothing behind it but my amp seems to big to fit in there?? is under my rear seats going to be able to fold properly not sure if they are the same as the 4 door?
thanks for any help!

There is a far bit of space behing the panel if you remove the basket thing with the net cover. How big of an amp is this.

Next question is where in Ontario are you.

its not a huge amp a good guess would be 12"x 6"x2" was wondering if it did fit in there would I be able to put the platic back overtop of the amp once it is mounted? And I live in Mississauga

I have both of my amps mounted behind the rear cargo panel (passengerside, under the rear window). There is plenty of room there just remove the factory amp (if you have it) and you'll have protected amps.
