An Easy Body Lift???

I have some 32x10.50's that I want to place on my 94' Sport. Do I need a 2" or 3" Body lift? Suspension lift is out of the question. I have them on right now, but I had to do a lot of fender trimming. They rub a little now. What's a price range of a 2" or 3" body lift? I can get one pretty cheap at 4 Wheel Parts (around $100), but what else do I need? I've heard of steering arm extensions, and lots of other stuff. If I'm only getting 2", will I need it?

For a body lift you are looking at around $75-$100 for the kit. You shouldn't need anything else that I know of. The only crappy part about it is that it cost a ton to get it installed. You can do it yourself with the right tools and a few buddies. Mine to install was about twice the price as the kit. Hope that helps

The steering extension just made the jerk/bump on turns worse. Me and a friend did the lift. I was quoted $300 to get it professionally installed.

Daemon, how did you get your steering shaft to come out far enough to re-attach without the extension? I couldn't, so I'm using the extension and I have the same problem you described. I'm sure that its caused by this crappy extension that comes with the kit.

you actually don't even need the extension at all. I know that for sure with a 2" and I'm pretty sure that you don't with a 3" either. Performance Accessories has actually had a problem with their extensions in the past. they have made a lot of them with questionable quality metal, and they have been breaking, bending, and grooving. So i opted to leave mine out. I started the lift myself, and then took it to a mechanic buddy of mine who owed me a favor. the hardest part of these lifts is 1) getting the rusted bolts loose. you have to use an impact wrench, but make sure you don't break off the heads. and 2) the mount right over the gas tank is a pain to work around. we ended up having to drop my gas tank, because they had to torch the bolt out.

basically, if you got the tools, you can do it, but i really wouldn't plan on it being a 1/2 day or full day job. honestly i would plan on 2 full days....at a semi leisurly pace. just my 2.34 cents.....
