Andre,

I am very interested too... Is it mounted to the frame? Where did you get it... It is sweet...

Now you're talking!

Here's the scoop; I bought this baby about six months ago on eBay. It came at a right time. I was looking for something like this for a long time and was almost ready to buy some tubing and put one together myself. There was a lot of research done prior to my purchase so I know exactly that nobody makes these at this time. At least nobody I could find. I bought it from a guy in Hartsville, SC. He even told me that if I want to he can get me more. I have contacted him via e-mail a few times, no response. I posted a few messages here looking for him or his stuff, no response. The guy is for some reason......gone.
We might be able to find out more. There was once a company here, in Illinois that made bars like mine. Company is gone. There's got to be someone that knows more. I guess I can post everything I know since the guy never wrote back to me. His name is Jeremiah Kopchak. He's from Hartsville, SC. His e-mail miahbecca@pdn.net works since my e-mails never came back. You can find some more about this bar at: Dead Link Removed
That was his initial page set-up to sell these bars. YES! This bar looks exactly like the one TJM sells. Model T16 but it's in Australia. I knew about it before. These bars are pretty costly. So much for nothing. Men, I feel lucky. Like I said I was looking for a bar like this for a very long time, so for sure, there's someone watching over me. This baby is not too sturdy although it bolts right to the frame and would fit older and newer Explorers. I'm planing to make it a bit stronger when I put my body lift on. Wouldn't want to lose it somewhere in the middle of nowhere.

So much for nothing, ha? Well, perhaps we can find someone that knows more about TOMMIBAR????

Keep me posted.

Sincerely:

I did talk to TJM. They have their reps in USA. No prices as of yet. I'm still waiting to hear back from them. Funny thing though happened today. I saw the same bar that I have on a J**p. No Explorer writing on it though. Just plane bar.
Well, someone's got to know more.

Later,
