another 4x ?????

i put this in the sticky but thought id move it here. thankshey guys, first time user! been looking at this thread cause I was haveing problems with the ol 4x, anyway I just installed manual hubs and went to turn the 4 on and a few clicks and nothin, no light notta, the dash lights come on when I do a start up but not when I turn the knob, so I pull the t case shift motor off hook it up dirctly to voltage and turns, reverse voltage and turns back. I know its been covered in here but I cant find it, does this mean my shift motor is o.k.? anyway , looked tyo see if I could find the module, again - I know its been covered in here but I have dial up and its painfull to do to many searches, its a standard cab 95 xlt 4.0. anyway cant find the module! its not behind the seat! anyway I know I'll get it figured out but just wonderin if someone could give me a hand, thanks and again HI

hey thanks guys!!! yea it only took me about 5 min. to download them pages , not too bad for dial up eh? ha.

anyway on them pages cant find where the module is????? I'll keep looking thanks

well, i ve pulled the shift motor removed the torx screws(pain) replaced the plastic bushing (didnt look to bad) but did it anyway, I didnt go any farther than that, so I replaced the motor turned it on and both 4h and 4l lights come on and stay on! so I put it in N and turn the switch to 4 l and back to 2w, well the the 4l light goes out but not the 4h. so i shut it off remove the motor and the t-case is still in 2w. ???????? so anyway I tear the whole motor down, looks pretty good still, clean it up, reinstall and nothin! I tried unhooking the batt. for 20min., the only thing I cant do is diss. the sealed unit that the torx screws hold to? now I need help! dont know if this matters but this is a ranger!? thanks guys
